Promoting Health and Wellness with women and children is a serious task
and grows more important every year.  The Wellness Foundation is
uniquely positioned to positively impact the lives of thousands of families
through our efforts of community health education, wellness  promotions,
programs and projects.
We believe that our outreach and education efforts are best utilized
addressing the 3 most pervasive  areas of ill health in the United States
today.  Use of Tobacco, Poor Diet and Lack of Exercise.  We have
tailored our message to address  these 3 areas of great concern and we are
certain to save lives in doing so.
Our dedication and focus on the following 3 areas
:

1 - DON'T Smoke...If you do QUIT!
Smoking and the use of tobacco is the number one cause of death in America.
With over 400,000 deaths each year, cigarette and tobacco use accounts for
more deaths than AIDS, alcohol, car accidents and homicides combined.

2 - Eat Better
Let's face it...life is busy!  We don't always have time to eat right.  So our goal
is to help make BETTER meal choices easier and more likely.  Obesity with
adults and children is at epidemic levels.

3 - Move More
A sedentary lifestyle is a detriment to health and wellness.  What ever your
preference for exercise - Just Do It!  Whether it's walking, jogging, dancing,
climbing or swimming.  Just 20 minutes a day of physical exertion can make a
powerful impact on your health status.
